We enhance the performance and efficiency of technology applications

At Orizon, we refine the dynamic functioning of applications to lower infrastructure expenses and improve service quality.

Non-optimal software costs more than you think.

In most organizations, software is not optimized and becomes a barrier to efficiency.

¿Why does this happen?

Quality tools only measure static quality. They assess whether the code is correct, but not how it actually behaves in production, including its consumption, impact, and sustainability.

Optimizations remain at the infrastructure level. Technical adjustments, license reviews, process improvements… but no one questions the software design itself or its real efficiency.

Pre-production environments do not reflect reality. Neither the data volume nor the complexity of real use cases. What works well in pre-production may not work as well in live operation.

Responsibilities are fragmented. While the development team focuses on delivering business functionality, the infrastructure and operations teams concentrate on ensuring system stability and reliability. However, in this division of priorities, no one takes on the critical task of measuring the hidden cost of not having optimized software.

Observability is limited. Technical monitoring tools exist, but they offer only partial and scattered visibility across architectures, without a direct connection to business KPIs.

The cost of not optimizing: an ever-growing IT bill

Operating costs in environments such as Cloud, zOS, or databases are directly tied to software efficiency. If performance is not properly controlled, costs skyrocket.

Every second counts: response times that increase and impact the business

The complexity of today’s environments — from legacy to cloud — combined with high user expectations, leads to a constant increase in service response times.

When performance fails, service level agreements (SLAs) are breached

SLA breaches, especially in batch processes, not only affect the service delivered to end users but can also result in direct financial penalties.

BOA: Our proprietary technology is uniquely designed to deliver automated, real-time measurement and improvement of software performance in production environments, unlike standard monitoring tools.

Thanks to our own methodology and BOA’s analytical engine, we measure more than 150 business KPIs across key categories:

Costes: asociados al uso de infraestructura y desarrollo.
Calidad: en procesos batch y cumplimiento de obligaciones de negocio.
Disponibilidad efectiva: nivel real de servicio ofrecido por la infraestructura TI.

ROI almost immediate

Performance function is incorporated into high-load technology environments.

Continuous feedback

Actionable recommendations that enhance team productivity and efficiency.

The Performance Suite

BOA is an intelligent platform for optimizing software performance.

It integrates automated analysis, real-time metrics, and AI-driven recommendations to detect bottlenecks, propose improvements, and demonstrate the technical and economic impact of interventions.
BOA transforms complex data into clear, agile, and results-oriented decisions.

Benefits of our solution

Our technology not only enhances software performance but also has a direct impact on operating costs and the quality of service delivered to users.

Significant savings in operating costs

We optimize technology performance, avoiding overinvestment and generating a direct impact on the bottom line.

Infrastructure

Capex + amortization

Extend asset lifespan

✔ Avoid expansions (Capex and recurring OPEX increases)

Operations

✔ Right-sizing based on infrastructure

✔ Optimization / automation tasks

✔ Fewer issues (e.g., database recovery, backups)

Tangible improvement in service quality

This leads to better user experience and more trust in processes.
Response times

Response times

✔ Better end-user experience

✔ Increased conversion and retention rates

✔ Greater efficiency in internal processes

SLA Batch

✔ Avoid contractual penalties

Business impact

✔ Prevent execution during peak transactional load

Success cases

At Orizon, we help large organizations improve software performance, reduce costs, and ensure the quality of their critical processes. Here are some of our most notable projects:

01

z/OS – Net consumption reduction

Reduction of infrastructure costs for the provider in major banking clients in Spain, Mexico, and Brazil.

02

Batch SLA Optimization

Improvement in meeting critical SLAs at major banking institutions in Spain and LATAM.

03

Oracle Database Optimization

Lower resource consumption, reduced costs, and improved user experience in major telecom, banking, and insurance companies.

Solutions for different technology environments

We improve performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuous operations.

  • Mainframe
  • Batch
  • Monitoring
  • BBDD
  • Midrange Systems
Assessment of the technological environment

Comprehensive assessment of the technological domain, analyzing key points or a specific subset of interest.

Projects

Closed scopes with defined objectives

Projects to reduce technical debt with concrete objectives (CPU/resource consumption, duration, SLA compliance, response time) across different domains (Batch, online, databases).

Creation of improvement recommendations that are easy to implement, with the highest level of detail: changes to be applied, expected gains, and estimated cost of the required development efforts.

Create or enhance existing monitoring and the data structure required for continuous operations.

Technical Performance Office.

Recurring Technical Operation (Continuous Software Control)

Control of batch/online behavior changes (in production or pre-production environments) across all software components of each technology vertical.

Centralization of performance information and system alerts by technology. Dashboard, development measurement, and benchmarks.
